Parade Route

The parade starts just north of the Albee Road bridge. There is public viewing in this area on the ocean side of the intracoastal and at the restaurants on the east side.
We will only go out to the directional sign in the jetty channel, if weather that night permits. There is limited viewing on the north jetty and no viewing on the south jetty.
As the parade continues south, there is public viewing on both sides of the intracoastal on the trails. The parade will turn around before the Circus bridge by Marine Max.
Due to changes in the intracoastaal shores because of past hurricanes, there will be some areas where no viewing will be allowed, i.e. opposite Gulf Harbor marina.
The HS is helping the parade by opening up their parking lots for parade parking that night, see below. As you walk through the rear gate of the HS, you are at one of the best viewing spots for the parade. Need to bring your chairs as you are sitting on the intracoastal banks. The only paved area on the intracoastal for parade viewing is at the restaurants and the Train Depot.
Watch our Facebook page for relevant posts regarding any parade changes or restrictions for viewing.
If you are coming by boat to watch the parade, we are asking that you refrain from dropping anchor close to or in the parade path, as this is distracting to the parade skippers (especially if there are lights on your boat). Reminder for the Island, when the 2 north bridges go up (at 6pm), the Circus Bridge remains down for VEHICULAR TRAFFIC ONLY. Take some time before the parade to drive around and look for that perfect spot for you! Enjoy the parade.

Thanking the High School for their collaboration with the parade. For only $10 (with proceeds benefiting the kids) you are parking in a safe dedicated area, have access to restrooms and have the ability to walk across the field and set your chair up on the trail in one of the best spots for viewing the parade.
Enter onto the school grounds from Milan Avenue where you will be directed to the parking area.
